Dr. Heidi Stone, DVM earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Following graduation, she practiced large and mixed animal medicine before transitioning to companion animal practice. She has been a member of the Georgetown Veterinary Hospital team since 2015.
Dr. Stone is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and providing compassionate, personalized care to pets of all kinds. Her professional interests include reproduction, pain management, geriatric medicine, and dentistry. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Stone enjoys spending time with her four children. She is actively involved in breeding, training, and competing with her Cardigan Welsh Corgis and German Shepherd Dogs. She participates in a variety of canine sports and events, including conformation, rally, obedience, coursing, barn hunt, and trick dog competitions.
In her free time, Dr. Stone enjoys photography, home renovation projects, and scrapbooking. Her dedication to both her patients and her personal pursuits reflects her commitment to excellence, lifelong learning, and the special bond between pets and their families.
